Monica Davis
Monica Davis, a manager in our Claims Department, applies her leadership skills outside the office at her church. Both Monica and her husband are Deacon Leaders at the New Beginnings Cathedral. Appointed by the church’s Bishop as a Deacon 4 years ago and elected as a leader 1 year ago, Monica spends a great deal of her free time providing faith-based support for church and community members in the Detroit area who need financial, social, physical, emotional or spiritual guidance. Monica reveals that the experience of helping people transform their lives and directing them to spiritual maturity is "awesome." As she puts it, "I haven’t always been here—I’ve been there, too." Monica adds that being a Deacon Leader helps with her management responsibilities at AC.
